Best Food Tour in Tel Aviv

best places to eat in Israel

Are you ready for the best food Tour in Tel Aviv? So here we are exploring the food capital of Israel – Tel Aviv. Where should we start our tour today? I think the best location to start our tour is the Carmel Food Market.

Best Markets in Tel Aviv

What I like about the Carmel Market is you can feel the local vibe and brush with the locals. When you tour around the Holy Land, you are isolated and don’t get to mingle. I promise you will get an up-close look at Israeli society and culture in the Carmel Market.

Our first stop in the Market would be Panda Pita. It’s one of my favorite places to get some local food. What do they offer there? Well, Panda Pits is where high cuisine meets pita bread. For a decade, they have been experimenting with food, emphasizing quality and fresh ingredients; for a decade, the owner has been traveling the world, trying to get inspiration and learning with an endless love of food and for people—my the number one stop in my best Tel Aviv food tour.

Best Food Tour in Tel Aviv: Meet the Best Arais Sandwich Ever!

Our next stop would also be in the Carmel Food Market, one of the best restaurants I know in the area. In other words, I refer to M25. They serve one of the dishes. I am addicted to it! And that’s the Lebanese meat-stuffed pita or, in one word – Arais—a dish derived from Levantine cuisine. The plate is standard in the Middle East, especially in Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon. The dish is based on a fat-smeared pita stuffed with minced meat.
