The Dead Sea Masada Tour is one of my favorites. It combines amazing landscapes and an amazing road trip to the Judea Desert. In addition, it has a good blend of history next to nature and lots of fun. So its a really a tour for everyone!
Driving to Masada NP we will stop at Sea Level for a short camel ride. Next, we'll drive by Qumran Caves which are on the shores of the Dead Sea. In these caves, the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We'll talk all about it on our way.
Ein Gedi Nature Reserve is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the Judean Desert. Although our time is limited, we will stop there for a short walk to get a feel of the park.
Ein Gedi Nature Reserve
Masada is an ancient fortress on the fringes of the Judaean Desert. Among the ruins is King Herod's Palace, and a Roman-style bathhouse with mosaic floors.
Alright for a fun ending let's go and smear our bodies with some rejuvenating Dead Sea Mud and float in the buoyant waters of the Dead Sea. Did you know the Dead Sea is ten times saltier than the Meddiraean Sea?!
