The Witch's Cauldron and the Milkman

Restaurants in Israel

One of the most unique restaurants in Israel, The Witch’s Cauldron and The Milkman is a must-visit on a trip to Israel. Located near Kibutz Hagoshrim, just south of Majdal Shams and a few minutes’ drive from Mount Hermon, this whimsical restaurant is famous for its quirky décor of smiling witch dolls.

The Witch’s Cauldron and the Milkman: A Place To Eat While Touring the North

The Witch’s Cauldron and the Milkman is based in a charming wooden lodge 1,000 meters above sea level, the restaurant boasts breathtaking views of Nahal Hatsabani, endless cherry orchards, and volcanic lakes that create a beautiful backdrop for a sumptuous meal. This would be a great stop if you’re touring the Galilee region!

The non-kosher restaurant specializes in authentic Galilean dishes with hearty casseroles at the menu’s core. You can tuck into mouthwatering delights like a lamb simmered in white wine with root vegetables and salmon stewed in coconut milk, oranges, and ginger, and pair your food with local Golan wines.

There are other culinary delights on the menu, including delicious fish dishes, duck and meat plates, and fresh salads, and you’ll find a great selection of local and European beers, wines, and spirits. Friendly and knowledgeable staff provide excellent service, and the atmosphere is laid-back and relaxing.
