Cool Things to Do in the Golan

Adventuring in Israel

After you toured the entire Golan Heights and did some exploring. Now it’s time for some cool things to do at the Golan. One great option is to go on a nice hike (If it’s not too hot). A nice trail with lots of water and natural waterfalls Nahal El-Al. The Stream is the southernmost river in the Golan Heights. In addition, the canyon which is part of the stream is between the communities Eliad and Avnei Eitan has been named as an “Eli-Al Nature Reserve, if you have time you should explore that as well.

Prominent in the river landscape are the remains of orchards of the abandoned Syrian villages of El Al and Jidia – mainly olive groves, but also pomegranates, sabras, almonds, and more.
