Israel's Coastline Best Eateries

Experience the Holy Land

So you’re driving along the amazing shores of the Holy Land. But where can you find the very best eateries on Israel’s coastline? So here we go, let’s start listing the top ones we can find. My first pick is Mata’im restaurant at Ramat Handiv. Ramat Hanadiv is a nature park and garden in northern Israel, covering 4.5 km at the southern end of Mount Carmel between Zikhron Ya’akov to the north and Binyamina to the south. The Jewish National Fund planted pine and cypress groves in most of the area.

So the uniqueness of Mata’im Restaurant is the extraordinary combination of breathtaking nature, a high-level menu and service, and the social enterprise that operates within it and inspires at-risk youth – youth who have dropped out of the education system – to believe in their ability to create a career in the restaurant industry.

Their Menu is offering a special combination of a quality, kosher, and dairy menu. The menu emphasizes healthy food, the freshness of raw materials, connection to the environment, soil, and roots. The restaurant serves a rich variety of breakfasts, healthy drinks squeezed on-site, fresh salads, pasta, and main courses. The restaurant menu offers vegan dishes alongside the regular and familiar menu.

Very Best Eateries On Israel’s Coastline: Uri Buri, Acre

Probably one of my favorite places to eat along Israel’s shoreline is Uri Buri in Old Town Acre! Uri Jeremias, adventurer, salt of the earth, and self-taught chef with experience in the kitchen and restaurants (Helena Restaurant in Caesarea port), is the owner of Uri Buri restaurant; housed in a simple and unpretentious Ottoman structure with a high arched ceiling, to the canopy of Old Acre.

From its beautiful place of residence, Uri Buri has been offering fresh fish and seafood dishes from the sea in various and different forms of preparation for more than twenty years; along with a selection of more than 100 fine Israeli wines. The restaurant has a private room for events with up to 24 guests. Uri Buri’s gates are open every day from 12:00 to 22:30 and on Fridays until 23:00 with ample parking, and it is a must to visit on any trip in the north.
