Our tour will begin with Temple Mount, with what is officially the third holiest site for Muslims, al Aqsa Mosque. On our way, we will appreciate some genuine Muslim architecture.

The Church of St Anne was built sometime between 1131 and 1138. It was erected near the remains of the Byzantine basilica, over the site of a grotto believed by the Crusaders to be the childhood home of the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus.

The Road of Sorrow (Via Dolorosa) Strats up the road from the Pool of Bethesda. We will tour the first stations, beginning with the Churches of the Flagellation and Condemnation.

The Convent of the Sisters of Zion holds interesting vestiges dated to the 2nd century that Christian tradition relates to Jesus.

Founded in 1856 and opened in 1863, the hospice is the oldest national pilgrim house in the Holy Land. This is where will get our lunch, and then go to the rooftop for an amazing panoramic view.

We'll now finish covering the rest of the Stations of the Cross. Some are mentioned in the Christian Canon while some are later traditions.

The Little Western Wall is a Jewish religious site located in the Muslim Quarter. The wall itself dates from the Second Temple period, (516 BCE – 70 CE). It is the continuation of the larger part of the Western Wall and almost exactly faces the Holy of Holies. This section of the wall is of deep spiritual significance because of its close proximity to the Holy of Holies.

Damascus Gate in its current form was built in 1537 under the rule of Suleiman the Magnificent. Beneath the current gate, the remains of an earlier gate can be seen, dating back to the time of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, who visited the region in 130–131 CE.

We'll sign off by some exploring and tour Zedekiah's Cave. It is a huge underground quarry that runs under the Muslim Quarter, some say it's dated to the time of King Solomon!
